BOOK - 'Talking To Strangers'

As we go back to "normality" (somewhat!) on 4th July it's going to be a big adjustment for all of us to be mixing with lots of people again. To ease us in we recommend Michael Gladwell's bestseller 'Talking To Strangers'.

Gladwell argues something is very wrong with the tools and strategies we use to make sense of people we don't know. And because we don't know how to talk to strangers, we are inviting conflict and misunderstanding in ways that have a profound effect on our lives and our world.

With all of us entering a new stage in life where things will be different, it's a great time to reflect on the ways we interact and what we might like to change for the future. Who knows what new friendships and relationships could open up if we shifted our perspective on how we talk to new people we meet.
