Charity Begins With You

Celebrating International Day of Charity 5th September

As we celebrated International Day of Charity yesterday - we should always remember those less fortunate than ourselves. The day, founded by the UN General Assembly in 2012 serves not only to enhance and increase social responsibility amongst us all, but to increase our support for charitable causes at home and across the world.

The United Nations invites us as individuals alongside bigger organisations and businesses to celebrate the day by contributing to charity efforts in any way. It encourages charity donations, driving education and awareness-raising activities in order to push the importance of charity.

How can you get involved?

There are numerous ways in which you can get involved, no matter how much time you have, or how much you can afford to spare financially.

You can check with your preferred charity if they have organised any local events, or if not, you could organise one. If you have a charity process at work you can organise a cake sale in order to collect money, or perhaps a charity fun run.

And dont forget you can always support a charity by volunteering to spend time with those in need.

At THE FIND - here are some of the great causes that we have and will continue to support why not check them out and see how you can help!

Our charities

Since 2020, we are a proud member of 1% for the Planet. This means that with every pound you spend with THE FIND, 1% goes straight back to making this world a better place to live.

1% for the Planet is a global network of businesses, nonprofits and individuals working together for a healthy planet. Along with this alliance of other businesses that understand the necessity of protecting the environment, were committed to giving 1% of our annual sales to fund eco-friendly, earth-conscious causes and organisations around the globe.

Why not visit 1% for the Planet and discover how you, too, can get involved now.
