Food Sharing App - OLIO
Did you know that an estimated 1.3 billion tonnes of food go to waste every year around the world? To help fight food waste, you can share more and waste less with OLIO, the #1 free sharing app that allows you to connect with members of your community to give and receive free food and household items. OLIO is an eco-friendly app created to fight food waste, by connecting neighbours and members of a community with one another and with local businesses so that excess food can be shared and not thrown away. So if you’re going away on holiday and don’t want leftover groceries in your fridge to go to waste, you can simply post a photo and description on the OLIO app, and state when and where the item is available for a member of your community to pick-up!
